Responsibilities/Activities:

- Oversee quoting strategies on complex, high-value mechanical projects
- Coordinate GSM and GCE interaction in these and other projects outside the normal scope
- Provide guidance to mechanical quote specialists
- Oversee the refinement and (worldwide) implementation of the Mechanical Should Cost tool
- Provide cost driver review/removal support

REQUIREMENTS

Education: Bachelor's degree in business, mechanics, supply chain or equivalent.

Experience:



+5 years of experience as a general level buyer, commodity specialist, or other quoting/supply chain role. Strong leadership, project management, negotiation experience required.

Skills: Advanced Excel, VBA (macros - nice to have), Purchasing and quoting experience. QuoteWin knowledge. Open, access, evaluate, and interpret drawings using various tools.

Skills/Competences: Excellent communication skills, ability to manage projects, mentor co-workers, interact with peers in GSM, establish supplier relationships.
