Job Type: Part-time – 100% On-site

Salary Range: $10,000 MXN gross (before taxes) + $4,000 MXN bonus for meeting KPIs

Schedule: 25 hours per week – Monday through Friday

Morning shift: 6:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

Afternoon shift: 11:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Location: Plaza Crisoles in Centrika, Monterrey, Reciente León

YOUR ROLE:

As a Product Data Specialist, you will be responsible for collaborating with Fastenal’s partner suppliers to collect, review, and update product data throughout its lifecycle. In this role, you will work with key stakeholders and suppliers to optimize data workflows and promote the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of Fastenal’s product and supplier data.

YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

- Use product and industry knowledge to make sound business decisions when creating product content to drive efficiency throughout the supply chain and sales process.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to address product data needs and changes to ensure alignment and operational efficiency.
- Represent Fastenal as a subject matter expert on best practices and principles related to product data, both internally and externally.
- Identify content gaps within our product categories and develop strategies to address them.
- Lead and facilitate the product data collection process for entry into Fastenal’s systems.
- Help ensure the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of product data throughout the product data collection process.
- Help promote category strategies and product data governance throughout the onboarding and enrichment processes.

This position requires the following skills and qualifications:





- Advanced conversational English (C1-C2)
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office | Excel, Power BI, and others
- Databases: Proficiency in SQL for extracting and querying large volumes of data.
- Highly motivated, self-reliant, and customer-service oriented.
- Demonstrate strong organizational, planning, and prioritization skills.
- Demonstrate strong problem-solving, deductive reasoning, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to learn and multitask in a dynamic environment.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE POSITION:

- Hold or be pursuing a degree in business, engineering, OR have work experience related to the industry.
- Previous experience with product information management (PIM) systems and data management best practices.
- Knowledge of and familiarity with industrial products.
