El Ingeniero de Sistema de Control Distribuido (SCD), coordina e implementa programas de mantenimiento y actualizaciones al sistema de control distribuido de la planta asignada, dirige y realiza actividades de ingeniería y mantenimiento en la lógica, hardware y sistemas de comunicación propios de los equipos, sistemas e instalaciones asociadas. Es el responsable por arquitecturas de hardware y software de sistemas de información industrial (ISA-95 niveles 2 y 3), configuración, análisis de problemas y soporte a sistemas e infraestructura de red. Es encargado de ciberseguridad industrial (IEC 62443). Estas actividades se ejecutan con el fin de alcanzar los objetivos de rendimiento de mantenimiento, de acuerdo con los objetivos de la empresa y las normas del sector.

The Distributed Control System (DCS) Engineer, coordinates and implements maintenance and updates programs to the Distributed Control System of the plant assigned, directs and performs engineering and maintenance activities on logic, hardware and communication systems of the equipment, systems and associated facilities. Is responsible for the software and hardware architecture of industrial information systems (ISA-95 levels 2 and 3), configuration, troubleshooting analysis and network infrastructure and systems support. Oversees industrial cybersecurity (IEC 62443). These activities are executed in order to achieve maintenance performance targets, in accordance with company objectives and industry standards.
