✨ Confidential Opportunity | People Operations & Payroll Coordinator Mexico City (Polanco) | On-site Growing international fashion retail company is looking for a People Operations & Payroll Coordinator to join our team in Mexico. This is not a traditional coordination role. We are looking for someone who is truly hands-on —someone who enjoys executing, building, improving processes and leaving a lasting impact. What you'll do Own the end-to-end People Operations lifecycle, including hiring documentation, onboarding, employee movements, promotions, organizational changes and offboarding. Ensure complete, accurate and audit-ready employee files, labor contracts, legal documentation and personnel records. Manage and validate the end-to-end payroll process together with the external payroll provider, ensuring payroll accuracy, employee movements, settlements, terminations and statutory compliance. Lead employee relations processes, including disciplinary actions, labor terminations and legal documentation, partnering closely with external legal advisors. Ensure full compliance with Mexican labor legislation, Social Security, INFONAVIT, FONACOT, payroll taxes and all employment-related obligations. Own HR administration processes, employee data integrity and HR systems, ensuring reliable and accurate information across all platforms. Drive operational excellence by improving processes, strengthening controls, implementing automation and continuously enhancing the employee experience. Partner closely with Finance to ensure payroll reconciliation, labor cost allocation, headcount accuracy and operational reporting.



Build trusted relationships with Store & District Managers and corporate leaders, providing timely, practical and business-oriented HR support. You enjoy partnering with the business and supporting leaders through practical, operational HR solutions. What we're looking for Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, Accounting, Law or a related field. 5 years of experience in People Operations, HR Administration, Payroll or HR Generalist roles. Strong knowledge of Mexican Labor Law, Payroll, Social Security (IMSS, INFONAVIT, FONACOT), labor compliance and employee relations. Experience managing payroll through external vendors. Experience working with HRIS platforms and employee data management. Previous experience in Retail or Fashion Retail is highly preferred. Intermediate to advanced English is desirable.
