Foreign Trade Expert About the Role As a Foreign Trade Expert, you will contribute to the continuity and compliance of SKF’s international trade operations in Mexico within a dynamic and evolving global environment. You will play a key role in ensuring that import and export activities are executed in full alignment with applicable customs regulations and internal standards, supporting both operational efficiency and business continuity. In this role, you will be part of an organization that is continuously evolving through digitalization, process standardization, and regional integration. You will collaborate with diverse stakeholders across functions and geographies, contributing to initiatives that enhance compliance, efficiency, and transparency in general trade operations. Requirements Education: Bachelor’s degree in International Trade, International Business, or related field. Experience: 3–5 years in Foreign Trade, Customs Compliance, or International Logistics in a manufacturing environment, IMMEX, IVA/IEPS Certification, Annexes 24 & 31, and customs compliance, customs brokers and logistics providers.



Technical Knowledge Advanced English. IMMEX Program, Mexican Customs Law, General Foreign Trade Rules. INCOTERMS® 2020, customs classification, valuation, and non-tariff regulations. USMCA (T-MEC) and Rules of Origin. International transportation (air, ocean, land, multimodal). SAP (required); Power BI (highly desirable). Advanced Excel. Key Responsibilities Ensure compliance with customs regulations and IMMEX requirements. Coordinate import and export operations to ensure business continuity. Validate customs documentation and operational accuracy. Coordinate customs brokers and logistics providers. Support customs audits and regulatory requirements. Perform Rules of Origin analysis under USMCA. Monitor KPIs and support process improvements. Collaborate with regional teams in Latin America. Support digitalization and standardization initiatives.
