The Area Clinical Specialist (ACS) is a field-based clinical and sales professional responsible for driving the adoption of Vapotherm technology throughout Mexico. The ACS leads product evaluations and validation processes for prospective customers while supporting the growth of existing accounts through clinical education, product training, and ongoing customer support. The ACS partners closely with healthcare providers across acute and post-acute care settings to ensure the successful implementation and utilization of Vapotherm therapy. Working collaboratively with Sales, Marketing, Clinical, and other cross-functional teams, the ACS delivers evidence-based clinical education, builds strong customer relationships, supports territory growth, and helps achieve recurring revenue objectives. This is an entry-level clinical and sales hybrid role that requires strong communication skills, customer focus, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, field-based environment. The ACS must be able to communicate verbally and written at a B1 or higher English level. Key Responsibilities Lead Vapotherm product validation and implementation activities for existing and prospective customer accounts, including planning, coordinating, and executing evaluations with key stakeholders. Deliver clinical education and product training to healthcare professionals, ensuring the safe and effective use of Vapotherm technology and appropriate patient selection. Build and maintain strong relationships with clinicians, key opinion leaders, and strategic partners to support account growth and customer satisfaction. Collaborate with the Vapotherm Country Manager to develop and execute territory plans that drive recurring revenue, expand product utilization, and increase account profitability.



Support all aspects of customer implementation, including device installation, technical support, preventive maintenance coordination, troubleshooting, and post-validation equipment management. Identify customer needs and develop strategic account plans to expand business within existing and prospective accounts. Represent Vapotherm at regional and national conferences, educational events, and professional meetings while maintaining current knowledge of clinical evidence, market trends, and competitive technologies. Maintain accurate customer records and activity reporting within the company's CRM system, providing timely updates, customer insights, and feedback to internal teams, including Product Development. Requirements University degree in biomed Minimum 2 years’ experience in respiratory or critical care Current knowledge of respiratory therapies English verbal and written fluency level B1 or B2 or higher Require car and valid license to drive to develop the activities in the field Lives within the regional geography of Mexico City Clinical experience in emergency department, adult, pediatric and/or neonatal markets Education experience in hospital environment Strong relationship management skills, including initiating and building sustainable relationships with customers (physicians, hospital leadership and other healthcare professionals)



Ability and willingness to travel overnight (70% of the time) Computer skills including MSWord, Excel, PowerPoint and online applications Committed to ensuring superior customer satisfaction. Openminded Adaptable, adaptable Ability to establish trust in working relationships WORK ENVIRONMENT Fulltime role, with 90% dedicated to fieldwork and nationwide travel availability, responding to hospital requests for special shifts to support customer activities, including product transportation for demonstrations and device validations. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and/or stand for extended periods of time for meetings or work, travel to different locations via car or airplane, operate a motor vehicle, operate a personal computer, visually inspect reports/forms, conduct oral communication via telephone or in person, retrieve and return files, and occasionally lift up to 11 kilos.
