We are looking for experienced, strategic leaders to join our team as an Operations Manager at our new Inbound Cross Dock (IXD) - the first of its kind in Mexico.
This state-of-the-art facility represents a significant milestone in Amazon's expansion in Latin America, featuring new processes and innovative cross-docking solutions.As Operations Manager, you will lead and develop a team of Area Managers and their respective departments, overseeing multiple shifts and being responsible for the end-to-end operations of significant portions of the facility.
You will drive operational excellence through strategic planning, continuous improvement initiatives, and development of your leadership team while ensuring the highest levels of safety, quality, and performance across operations.Key job responsibilitiesLead team of Area Managers and their departments across multiple shiftsDesign and execute site-wide strategic initiatives and process improvementsDevelop comprehensive data-driven action plans impacting entire building operationsManage budgets, headcount planning, and resource allocationDrive safety, quality, and productivity metrics across all departmentsImplement innovative solutions to enhance operational efficiencyLead cross-functional projects and continuous improvement initiativesEnsure standardization of processes across operationsPartner with senior leadership in Safety, Engineering, LP, QA, and HRDevelop and execute long-term operational strategiesCreate performance management systems driving accountability at all levelsLift up to 49 poundsStand/walk extended periodsWork in variable noise levels and temperaturesNavigate stairs where applicableFrequent pushing, pulling, squatting, bending, reachingA day in the lifeLead team meetings to review critical metrics, KPIs, and strategic initiatives across all departmentsDirect multiple Area Managers in shift planning, resource allocation, and operational executionConduct strategic Gemba walks to assess building-wide performance,
