Aerospace company requires Surface Treatment Engineer
Chinese company located in San Luis Potosí S.L.P.
- Own and control **internal plating and coating processes** (anodizing, passivation, electroless nickel, etc.)
- Ensure full compliance with **NADCAP, AS****, and customer specifications**:
- Lead **NADCAP audits**, process qualification, and continuous audit readiness
- Define and maintain **process parameters, work instructions, and control plans**:
- Monitor and improve **process capability, yield, and defect reduction**:
- Lead root cause analysis for surface treatment defects (adhesion, corrosion, FPI-related issues, etc.)
- Ensure **chemical process control**, bath maintenance, and lab verification systems
- Support **production, quality, and EHS** on chemical handling and process discipline
- Maintain traceability, certifications, and technical documentation




- Support qualification and monitoring of **external NADCAP-approved suppliers** as backup or overflow capacity
**- Required Qualifications**:
- 5+ years **hands-on experience in surface treatment plant operations**:
- Strong knowledge of **chemical processing, bath control, and line operation discipline**:
- Direct experience preparing for and passing **NADCAP audits**:
- Experience troubleshooting **shop-floor defects**, not just documentation
- ADVANCED ENGLISH
**- Preferred Qualifications**:
- Experience in casting and machining environments
- Experience with supplier auditing and qualification
- Familiarity with AS**** QMS and MES/QMS systems
- Experience supporting aerospace OEM customers (Boeing, GE, Airbus, etc.)
