Role Description The Retail Auditor is a full-time hybrid role based in Mexico City, Mexico, with flexibility for partial work from home. In this position, you will review and analyze retail transaction data, contracts, and invoices to identify discrepancies, overpayments, and missed recovery opportunities. You will prepare clear audit findings, document supporting evidence, and collaborate with internal teams and client contacts to validate results and resolve issues.

The role involves working with large datasets and audit tools, tracking case progress, and meeting productivity and accuracy targets. You will also contribute to process improvements, support audit methodologies, and help refine reporting and documentation standards for retail audit engagements.

Qualifications Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to interpret large datasets, identify patterns, and detect anomalies in retail transactions.

Experience with auditing, accounting, or financial reconciliation in a retail, consumer goods, or related environment. Proficiency with spreadsheets and data tools (e.g., Microsoft Excel, basic database or reporting tools); familiarity with audit or ERP systems is an advantage. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present clear findings and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.

High attention to detail, strong organizational skills,



and the ability to manage multiple audits or tasks under defined timelines. Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, demonstrating reliability, self-motivation, and comfort with remote collaboration tools. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Prior experience in recovery audit, retail operations, or vendor management is preferred; English and Spanish proficiency strongly preferred for working with diverse teams and clients.
