Responsibilities
LIXIL is seeking a dedicated and analytical Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Specialist.
In this role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining comprehensive EHS programs to ensure a safe, healthy, and compliant work environment.
The idóneo candidate will proactively identify hazards, manage environmental compliance, lead incident investigations, and cultivate a strong culture of safety throughout the organization.
Act as the first responder to medical emergencies, security breaches, fire alarms, or other workplace incidents.
Investigate accidents, thefts, property damage, and safety violations; compile detailed incident reports and collaborate with local law enforcement when necessary.
De-escalate conflicts or hostile situations professionally and safely.
Monitor physical security systems, including CCTV, alarms, and access control systems, to detect and deter unauthorized access or suspicious activities.
Conduct regular patrols of the facility and grounds to identify potential security vulnerabilities or safety hazards.
Manage visitor management protocols, ensuring all guests, contractors, and vendors are properly vetted and badged.
Ensure the facility complies with all local, state, and federal health and safety regulations (e.g., OSHA standards).
Conduct routine safety audits, fire drills, and risk assessments; document findings and recommend corrective actions.
Develop, maintain, and update the company's Emergency Action Plan (EAP) and security manuals.




Design and deliver safety and security training programs for employees (e.g., active shooter drills, evacuation procedures, first aid basics).
Promote a culture of safety by communicating updates, safety tips, and protocol changes to staff on a regular basis.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree Environmental Science, Industrial or Chemical, Engineering, or a related technical field.
4+ years of professional EHS experience, preferably in a Metal-mechanical industry, construction, chemical, Ceramic environment.
Licenses & Certifications
DC5 Certified
First Aid, CPR, and AED certification.
Ergonomics knowledge
Security Knowledge
Skills & Abilities
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and regulatory texts.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively train staff and write technical reports.
Proficiency in EHS management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
