We are seeking a highly skilled
Senior Databricks Engineer
to lead the architecture, optimization, and delivery of enterprise-scale lakehouse solutions. This is a client-facing role requiring strong technical depth and leadership.
Responsibilities:
Design and implement enterprise data platforms using Databricks Lakehouse architecture
Lead migration of legacy data warehouses to modern cloud environments
Build scalable pipelines with Apache Spark and Delta Lake
Implement governance and security using Unity Catalog
Tune cluster performance and optimize cost efficiency
Mentor junior engineers and review technical designs
Work directly with stakeholders and business leaders
Requirements:
5+ years in data engineering / cloud analytics




3+ years of deep experience with Databricks
Strong Python, SQL, Spark, and distributed processing expertise
Hands-on experience in Microsoft Azure / Amazon Web Services / Google Cloud
Experience with lakehouse architecture, governance, CI/CD
Excellent communication and client-facing skills
Preferred:
Databricks Professional certification
Team leadership experience
Migration/modernization project background
