Responsibilities

- Work closely with technical teams and business stakeholders to understand data needs and translate them into solutions

- Design, develop, and optimize data pipelines in Azure Synapse Analytics

- Support building and maintaining data processing workflows using PySpark/Python,



including reusable components and structured notebook development

- Participate in the migration of existing Azure Data Factory (ADF) pipelines into Azure Synapse

- Help design scalable data models and integrate data with downstream tools such as Power BI

- Follow and contribute to internal data architecture standards, naming conventions, best practices

- Ensure data pipelines are reliable, with appropriate monitoring, and error handling

- Support data quality checks and validation processes to maintain accurate and consistent data

- Collaborate using Git-based workflows (e.g., pull requests)

- Contribute to improving performance and efficiency of data solutions over time

Qualifications

- Experience working with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle)

- Hands on experience with Azure Synapse Analytics, PySpark and Python, Azure Data Lake (ADLS Gen2)

- Solid SQL skills and experience working with large-scale datasets

- Understanding of data modeling concepts (e.g. star schema, layered architecture)

- Experience with ETL/ELT design patterns

- Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment

- Fluent oral and written English
