Position: Kindergarten English Teacher
Academic Background: Bachelor’s Degree in Pedagogy, Early Childhood Education, or related field.
Language Requirement:
- Minimum English level: B2 (Upper Intermediate) according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).
- Must be able to communicate exclusively in English with students throughout the school day, fostering a natural language immersion environment.
Profile Description: The Kindergarten English Teacher is responsible for guiding young learners in their first educational experiences through meaningful, playful, and communicative activities entirely in English. The teacher should demonstrate warmth, creativity, and strong classroom management skills while promoting children’s cognitive, linguistic, emotional, and social development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create an immersive English-speaking environment that encourages students to communicate naturally.
- Support students’ early literacy, numeracy,
and socio-emotional skills using age-appropriate methodologies.
- Collaborate with colleagues and parents to ensure holistic development and continuous progress of each child.
- Prepare and maintain classroom materials, portfolios, and progress reports in English.
Skills and Competencies:
- Excellent command of spoken and written English.
- Strong pedagogical knowledge for early childhood education.
- Creativity and enthusiasm for working with young children.
- Patience, empathy, and effective communication with both students and families.
- Teamwork and professional responsibility.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in Teaching English to Young Learners (TEYL) or similar.
- Experience in bilingual or international preschool settings.
