The Internal Control and Risk Compliance Analyst is responsible for ensuring that the Internal Control System operates effectively and supports regulatory compliance, reliable information, and risk-based oversight. This role verifies the effectiveness of processes and controls, generates auditable evidence, and reports findings and action plans to leadership. The position also manages risk mapping, adherence testing, and business continuity documentation across support and business areas.

Key Responsibilities

- Ensure the Internal Control System is adequate and operates effectively through a risk-based review approach.
- Verify the effectiveness of processes and controls, the reliability of information, and compliance with applicable regulations.




- Generate verifiable evidence to support internal control assessments, findings, and action plans.
- Report findings and action plans to leadership in a clear and timely manner.
- Manage the risk map, including its effectiveness and the application of adherence testing across support and business areas.
- Review, monitor, and maintain the Business Continuity Plan.
- Support internal control, audit, risk, and compliance activities based on internal regulations and applicable laws.

Qualifications

Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- 4-6 years of experience in internal control, audit, risk, or compliance within the financial sector.
- Knowledge of Internal Control Systems, process mapping, risk-control matrices, testing, document management, and IT controls.
- Strong communication skills in Spanish.
