Hybrid Position – Requires 3 days per week in Mexico City Office Location: Mexico City, Mexico. English resume preferred.
Responsibilities - Administer fund bank accounts, including payments processing and cash movements, ensuring timely execution and proper controls.
- Manage relationships with banks, custodians, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure efficient fund operations.
- Oversee and monitor the performance of external service providers.
- Execute, validate, and settle client transactions through INDEVAL with accuracy and timely execution.
- Perform daily cash and securities reconciliations to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Book, confirm, and settle portfolio trades in compliance with operational requirements.
- Process and oversee shareholder transactions including subscriptions, redemptions, transfers, and related corporate actions.
- Monitor daily fund cash balances.
- Review Net Asset Value calculations provided by third‑party administrator and perform end‑of‑day valuation controls.
- Validate pricing, accounting records, and valuation data.
- Prepare and process tax payments in accordance with local requirements.
- Prepare operational, financial, and sales reports.
- Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and responding to audit requests.
- Monitor fund expenses and budgets.
- Collaborate on new fund launches, operational initiatives,
and continuous process improvement projects.
Qualifications - English fluency – spoken and written (essential).
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
- Two or more years of fund administration or asset management experience.
- Experience working with mutual funds and service providers.
- AMIB certification preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- Advanced Excel and Power BI skills.
- Familiarity with artificial intelligence tools and applications.
- Knowledge of domestic and international securities markets.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Effective organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
- Collaborative approach to working with internal and external partners.
