The Accounts Receivable Responsible leads all collection and billing processes for the Mexico legal entities.
This position supports the Finance Manager by ensuring that Accounts Receivable (AR) accounting information is accurate and reliable, and that all journal entries are properly generated and reconciled across the accounting records.
Serves as the primary point of contact between Finance and the commercial teams (Sales and Customer Service) for all matters related to credit, collections, and invoicing.
Works closely with the Warehouse, Shipping, and Foreign Trade teams to ensure accurate invoicing of all shipments.
Maintains direct communication with customers, providing timely updates regarding account balances and credit status.Prepare the monthly tax revenue reconciliation to be reported to the Tax team, serving as the basis for monthly and annual tax calculations.Perform daily monitoring of bank deposits and their application in the SAP system.Review Accounts Receivable balances for all customers on a weekly basis and present portfolio status updates to Central Treasury.Validate and send invoices to customersCoordinate with Shipping and Customer Service teams regarding the follow-up and release of delivery ordersMonitor inventory returns and generate credit notesManage customer credit limits and account blocksPrepare collections forecasts and monitor Days Sales Outstanding (DSO)Monitor and report electronic invoicing and payment complements through the invoicing portalGenerate manual invoices for ICO and scrap transactionsCoordinate export invoicing activities with the Foreign Trade teamPerform monthly closing activitiesProfileMinimum of 5 years of professional experience, preferably in multinational manufacturing companiesBachelor's Degree in Accounting is requiredStrong knowledge and understanding of accounting principles (IFRS and Mexican Financial Reporting Standards – NIF)Experience working with ERP systems, preferably SAPExperience using platforms and applications of the Mexican Tax Administration Service (SAT)Experience working with external auditorsIntermediate to advanced English proficiency is requiredProficient in Microsoft Office applicationsOur offerYou will have the opportunity to learn and build experience and further expand your skills in a highly dynamic team.We offer you a job in an agile and international working environment where entrepreneurship and creativity are valued.The will support you in creating a goodwork –life balance.You will receive an attractive salary package according to your experience topped with fringe benefits.
