Responsibilities - Manage the laundry operationsto include all guest room/suite linens and all linens for multiple outlets andcatering/convention facilities, fabric repairs, and/or guest dry cleaning services to ensure product quality standards are met and that optimum serviceis provided to hotel guests according to hotel and company business objectives.

- Possess a complete knowledge ofwashing, spotting, starching, dry-cleaning and pressing techniques - Ensure that all items launderedand dry cleaned within the hotel’s laundry are finished to the highest standardachievable and returned to the guests or staff in immaculate condition - Organize movement of dirty andclean laundry and of guest valet service - Ensure all damaged linen anduniforms are sent to the uniform room for repairs or discarding - Control and record chemicalconsumption and reorder as required - Assist in maintaining recordsof stock and equipment - Supervise all employees withthe Laundry Department - Ensure an accurate valetdelivery - Ensure daily production recordsfor linen and uniforms are maintained - Ensures that regular preventivemaintenance is carried out and reduce downtime with proper coordination withthe maintenance department - Works with Superior and HumanResources on manpower planning and management needs - Works with Superior Director ofFinance in the preparation and management of the Department’s budget.
