Job DescriptionPrimary Function of PositionThe Operations Analyst II within the Fixed Assets Accounting team will have the responsibility of driving operational execution of Fixed Assets processes, monitoring assets from the moment they be purchased up to the time they are disposed or sold, ensuring all asset cycle phases are done correctly and in a timely manner.This position helps prevent accounting errors or inaccuracy and engages FP&A; and business partners to ensure the timely capitalization of new assets, perform the physical verification, and manage transfer or disposal requests.This position reports directly to Fixed Assets Accounting Manager.Essential Job DutiesUpdate/maintain fixed asset master data in SAP asset accounting module.Coordinate with fixed assets team members to provide backup information required to support capitalization of assets such as invoices,
purchase orders and requests for capital expenditure.Manage asset tagging and follow up with other stakeholders to meet have assets tagged timely meeting internal metrics.Manage asset counting with business partners and follow up with key stakeholders to meet cycle count policy.Capitalize Fixed Assets (Property, Machinery & Equipment, Computer Hardware, Software, etc.) ensuring proper classification of expenditures as Capital vs. expense, validate useful lives, investigate discrepancies, and resolve issues.Assist Internal Customers with preparing asset transfer, disposal, and requests for capital expenditure forms.Process assets transfer and disposal requests timely and accurately.Apply ISI's Fixed Asset policy utilizing existing systems and established processes, procedures, and controls.Ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures, and controls for assigned areas and meet our periodic close responsibilities and deadlines.Support internal and external audit requests and SOX testing requests as needed.Assist with ad-hoc initiatives/projects and other fixed asset activities as required.
