Job Overview

The Purchasing Manager is responsible for sourcing materials and services by building expertise in external industries, sourcing skills, and internal categories and markets. This role coordinates and executes sourcing activities, manages relationships, and ensures business needs are met efficiently.



The position includes defining and executing sourcing recommendations with basic proficiency, delivering supply assurance, value creation, and policy compliance. The role also involves driving capability building within PSM teams, leading process improvements, and supporting governance and innovation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

- Define and execute sourcing tactics and recommendations to ensure supply assurance, value creation, and compliance.
- Manage internal and external relationships to align stakeholders and communicate externally.
- Lead projects focused on savings, technical improvements, cost structure, relationships, and stewardship.
- Build capability within PSM teams by developing and deploying work processes and training.
- Support governance, innovation, and mastery of PSM-related tools, processes, and capabilities across the region.
