- Develop and maintain the Master Production Schedule (MPS) based on customer releases and forecasts.

- Analyze customer demand fluctuations and adjust production plans accordingly.

- Balance production capacity with customer requirements while minimizing overtime and inventory.

- Coordinate daily and weekly production schedules with Production Managers and Supervisors.

- Review material availability with Purchasing and Material Planning teams.

- Monitor production constraints and develop recovery plans when necessary.

- Ensure production schedules support customer delivery requirements (JIT/JIS where applicable).

- Lead weekly production planning meetings.

- Analyze customer releases, EDI schedules, forecasts, and firm orders.

- Maintain optimal inventory levels of raw materials, WIP, and finished goods.

- Coordinate Engineering Change implementation (ECN/ECR) to minimize obsolete inventory.

- Support new program launches by developing production ramp-up schedules.

- Monitor production performance versus schedule attainment.

- Generate capacity analysis and identify bottlenecks.

- Develop contingency plans for supplier shortages or production disruptions.





- Coordinate with Customer Service regarding delivery priorities.

- Monitor production adherence and schedule compliance.

- Support inventory reduction initiatives while maintaining customer service levels.

- Participate in continuous improvement activities related to production planning.

- Ensure compliance with customer delivery performance KPIs.

- Prepare reports and presentations for management regarding production planning performance.

Experience

- 5+ years of experience in Production Planning or Master Scheduling.

- Experience in the Automotive Industry (Tier 1 preferred).
