The Mechanical Design Engineer collaborates with a local or integral engineering team on product design that satisfies customer specifications. This process includes design, product validation, documentation completion, and executing launch items for production. All related drawings, documentation, and releases should be completed in internal systems.

General Responsibilities

1. Perform design verification on original and/or derivative design ideas using analytical and experimental methods.
2. Participate in development testing, engineering analysis, qualification testing, and production launch.
3. Collaborate with relevant personnel on failure analysis investigations and engineering evaluations.
4. Maintain product documentation (drawings and specifications).
5. Interact with customers to gather product specifications, requirements, schedule expectations, and budget.
6. Apply knowledge of basic electrical circuits, microelectronic assembly,



statistical methods, process control fundamentals, and product testing processes.

Experience / Qualifications

1. A university degree (e.g., Bachelor's) or equivalent relevant work experience.
2. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks and demands.
3. Strong communication skills, including oral, written, and presentation abilities.
4. Excellent organization, planning, and time management skills.
5. High ethical standards, integrity, and accountability for achieving goals.
6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
7. Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills to work effectively across all organizational levels, including with suppliers and external customers.
