RESPONSIBILITIES
- Monitor pipes for water, compressed air, gas, and steam.
- Verify optimizations on layouts to reduce pressure losses and installation costs.
- Verify calculation of pipe diameters and materials according to required flow and pressure.
- Ensure continuous supply and avoid interference with conveyors and equipment.
- Supervision of preventive maintenance and detect leaks or pressure drops.
- Monitoring fire protection by evaluating risks in critical areas.
- Verify fire protection network design by location of hydrants, sprinklers, and hose cabinets at strategic points, ensuring full coverage in compliance with regulations.
- Pumps and reserve tanks are sized to guarantee sufficient pressure and flow in emergencies, while alarms and detectors are integrated with auxiliary systems.
- Periodic tests and drills are conducted, training personnel in the use of equipment and evacuation protocols to ensure effective response.
- Creation of supervision reports, construction logbooks (digital or physical), photographic evidence of progress and findings and incident reports and recommendations.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Electronic, Mechanical, Mechatronics or related field.
- 5 years of proven experience supervising similar projects as project supervision and management.
- Technical knowledge of NFPA .
- Knowledge of applicable regulations (NOM, NMX, NFPA, local regulations).
- Ability to prepare technical and photographic reports.
- Experience at an OEM.
- Knowledge in Project Documentation is an advantage.
- Fluent English.
- Available to rotate shifts.
- 6 month contract.
