The quality engineer will support the daily operation of the Quality System of the organization.

- Will respond to internal and external customer complaints and lead root cause analysis and corrective actions. Interprets and executes policies and procedures and provides modifications to operating processes.
- The quality engineer will review the engineering deliverables and will participate in the design reviews.
- Will perform internal audits and redact/update quality assurance plans. T
- The quality engineer will also lead supplier activities related to subcontractor and vendor approval, audits, and quality.
- Liaison with the certification authorities is also part of the quality engineer’s mandate as required by certain programs..

Job duties

- Support the quality control department; provide daily, hands‑on support to the QC and Production departments in accurately applying the specification and drawing requirements to the products, purchased or manufactured.
- Review and audit Engineering’s deliverables and processes
- Prepare and review Software and Hardware Quality Assurance plans
- Participate in design reviews
- Approve releases for products, software loads,



and various drawings (mechanical, optical, electrical)
- Work with suppliers to improve quality and OTD, assign SCAR to implement permanent corrective action and maintain good traceability on improvements.
- Support and maintain the corrective action system. Coordinate timely completion of CAR and verify and validate efficiency.
- Review NCR and coordinate MRB for disposition
- Perform and assist others in reviewing and completing first article inspection reports
- Maintain and implement calibration schedule and control.
- Support the implementation and phase‑in of product changes at ECO meetings.

- English fluid (interviews in English and daily communication)
- Experience as a Quality Engineer in manufacturing in the electronics or medical industry is preferred.
- VISA
- Experience with ISO
- Familiar with LCD technology, monitors, displays, and optical products as it plays a significant role in our Manufacturing processes and quality control measures.
- Engineering degree
- Availability to work in Rosarito
