GL Accounting Team Leader / Manager (USA/LATAM Scope)

Experience:
5+ years of experience in accounting/finance within an international or SSC environment
Key Responsibilities / Requirements:
Leadership & team management: oversee GL accountants, drive performance and KPIs
Strong accounting expertise: General Ledger, month-end close, financial reporting
Solid knowledge of IFRS and integral accounting standards




Ensure compliance with PCAOB/internal controls and audit requirements
Stakeholder management and process improvement in a shared service environment
Languages:
Advanced English (required)
Portuguese is a plus, but not mandatory

✅ What You MUST Have (All Roles)
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field
5+ years of experience in General Ledger / Accounting roles (SSC or multinational environment preferred)
Strong knowledge of General Ledger, month-end closing, and financial reporting
Solid understanding of IFRS accounting standards
Experience working with internal controls and PCAOB compliance frameworks
Advanced English (mandatory) ; Portuguese is a plus (especially for Team Leader)
