Senior Accountant

We are seeking a Senior Accountant to play a key role in overseeing the company’s accounting and financial operations within a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing environment.

The selected professional will be responsible for managing daily accounting processes, supervising Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable activities, supporting financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal policies.

This position will also collaborate with company leadership on budgeting, forecasting, ERP optimization, and continuous process improvement.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage, mentor, and support the professional development of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable Clerks
- Conduct performance reviews and provide training and guidance to the accounting team
- Oversee daily Accounts Payable processes to ensure accurate and timely vendor payments
- Oversee daily Accounts Receivable processes, collections, and customer account management
- Reconcile financial accounts and resolve complex discrepancies involving vendors and customers
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Coordinate month-end and year-end closing processes and ensure all deadlines are met
- Support accrual accounting activities and prepare appropriate period-end adjustments




- Collaborate with company leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, applicable regulations, internal controls, and company policies
- Prepare on-demand financial reports for sales teams, leadership, and external stakeholders
- Identify and implement improvements to accounting processes, controls, and workflows
- Support the management, implementation, and optimization of the company’s ERP system, including NetSuite

Requirements
- 6+ years of progressive experience in accounting or financial operations
- Previous experience supervising or supporting Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable teams
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, GAAP, accrual accounting, and financial reporting
- Experience supporting month-end and year-end closing activities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel
- Experience working with ERP or accounting management systems
- Familiarity with NetSuite is strongly preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred
- CPA certification or progress toward certification is a plus
- Strong leadership, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Fluent English
- Ability to meet deadlines in a dynamic, high-volume environment
