The SEO Content Writer & Editor is responsible for developing, editing, and managing written content for a number of designated clients. This includes collaborating with SEO Leads on content strategy and planning, following internal content guidelines, and ensuring consistency, quality, and performance across all written materials. A key part of this role is editing and refining content to a high standard, and using AI tools to build faster, more efficient content workflows.

Strategy & Development

- Collaborate on and execute key content strategies aligned with SEO and client goals.
- Create high-quality, original, SEO-optimized content for websites, blogs, and landing pages.
- Manage and update an editorial calendar to ensure consistent publishing schedules.
- Work closely with your team lead and SEO Strategists to align written content with broader campaign goals.
- Edit and proofread content to ensure accuracy, correct grammar, and a consistent brand voice before publishing.
- Use AI tools to draft, research, and produce quality content, refined with human editing. (Experience with Claude, ChatGPT, and Perplexity preferred)

Management

- Meet content production timelines and maintain quality control across deliverables.
- Ensure brand voice, tone, and messaging are consistent across all platforms and for all clients.
- Adjust and update content based on analytics and audience behavior insights.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (SEO, Paid Media, Client Management) to ensure content serves campaign goals.

SEO & Optimization
- Conduct keyword research and competitor analysis to support SEO strategy.
- Apply SEO best practices to all content, including keyword placement, formatting, and metadata.
- Analyze content performance using analytics tools to make data-driven decisions for content optimization. (Experience with SEMrush, Ahrefs, Google Analytics, and Search Console considered an asset)

4. Requirements
- Excellent written English with near-native fluency, strong grammar, spelling, and a keen eye for detail.
- Proven experience writing and editing website content (not just blogs — landing pages, service pages, etc.)
- SEO knowledge: keyword research, understanding analytics, and writing for both search engines and real readers.
- Strong editing and proofreading skills: able to take a rough or AI-generated draft and make it polished and publish-ready.
- Comfortable and creative with AI tools, with an interest in building better systems and workflows.

Note: Shortlisted candidates will be asked to complete a short editing and writing exercise.
