Responsibilities Serve as the single point of contact with the client during the new product development phase.
Develop and maintain the master schedule for Walmart projects, from kick-off/RFQ through mass production.
Lead Walmart process milestone reviews: Item Setup, packaging and labeling, certification samples, and distribution model (DC/DSV).
Maintain the project risk log with mitigation and escalation plans until closure.
Follow up with the client and R&D; on software releases, prototypes (EVT/DVT/PVT), and QA/PQ closure.
Participate in the weekly client meeting, prepare meeting minutes in English, and finalize any resulting agreements.
Report progress to headquarters and the plant and manage deviations and engineering changes (ECN/ECR) until they are resolved.
Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Electronics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
5 years or more of experience in project management or NPI in consumer electronics manufacturing
Advanced English (C1)



required—used daily in verbal and written communication with the client
Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with MS Project or Smartsheet
Knowledge of Stage-Gate, APQP/PPAP, and ECN/ECR engineering changes
Legal eligibility to enter the United States on a recurring basis for business purposes; the company does not handle immigration procedures
Willingness to travel to Irvine twice a month for 4 to 5 days, not exceeding 120 days per year; valid driver’s license
Valid documentation to work in Mexico

Preference will be given to candidates with experience as a supplier to Walmart, Sam’s Club, Target, or Costco; SENTRI or Integral Entry status; experience in the television, display, or major appliance industry; knowledge of SAP or PLM; and UL, FCC, Energy Star, and IMMEX certifications
