Drilling Design

Engineer to join a leading operator in the oil & gas industry. This role will be responsible for developing detailed well drilling programs, optimizing well designs, managing technical risks, and supporting the successful execution of complex drilling projects.

Key Responsibilities - Develop and coordinate detailed drilling programs based on engineering requirements and operational needs.

- Lead well design and construction activities for conventional, unconventional, HPHT, and technically complex wells.
- Evaluate casing designs, hydraulics, torque & drag, and drilling performance parameters.
- Analyze well trajectories, collision risks, drilling objectives, and operational constraints.
- Provide well design re-engineering solutions during drilling operations when required.
- Assess completion strategies based on reservoir characteristics, geological data,



nodal analysis, and production requirements.
- Review productivity designs, including productivity indices, fluid properties, formation damage factors, and production system performance.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, operations, and service providers to deliver technically sound and cost-effective solutions.

Requirements ✅ Petroleum Engineering degree (completed and licensed) ✅ Advanced English proficiency ✅ 15+ years of drilling engineering experience within IOC or NOC environments ✅ Strong expertise in well design, well control, and drilling regulations ✅ Extensive knowledge of drilling equipment, tools, fluids, and well design methodologies ✅ Experience in Offshore, Onshore, HPHT, and challenging operational environments ✅ Proven leadership experience managing teams, projects, and stakeholders ✅ Proficiency with specialized well design software .
