We are seeking a Senior Accountant with experience in general accounting, high attention to detail, and a love for numbers, who will be a key part of the accounting process within KEMET. Working alongside a team of accountants, they will carry out account reconciliation control, preparation of accounting reports, monthly financial closings, among other tasks specific to the accounting department. This is a full‑time, on‑site position located at our Guadalupe, NL, plant.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance or related field
- Proven experience 5+ years as an accountant with manufacturing background.

Responsibilities

- Record and maintain accurate accounting entries related to sales transactions, including external and intercompany revenue.
- Perform monthly sales reconciliations on a consolidated basis (parent company and subsidiaries), ensuring completeness and accuracy of reported revenue.
- Prepare and analyze sales accruals and provisions, including rebates, returns, customer incentives, and quality‑related adjustments.
- Calculate and record deferred revenue adjustments based on established methodologies,



including fixed percentage estimations and cut‑off analysis.
- Support the revenue recognition process in compliance with company policies and applicable accounting standards (e.g., IFRS/US GAAP).
- Develop, execute, and maintain internal controls related to revenue recognition (e.g., shipment cut‑off, pull‑in reviews, contract compliance).
- Perform month‑over‑month (MoM) variance analysis for revenue and related income statement accounts, providing explanations to management.

Qualifications and Skills

- Advanced English level.
- Strong knowledge of revenue recognition principles (IFRS 15 / ASC 606 preferred).
- Experience with ERP Systems and financial reporting tools (Oracle, SAP, One Stream or PBI)
- Advanced MS Office.
- Analytical Skills.
