Job Overview

Job Summary The ISG Development Engineering team is seeking a highly motivated Senior R&D; / Product Development Engineer to support Wire & Cable product development, material qualification, and engineering validation activities in close collaboration with development teams in Fremont, California. Based in Tijuana, this role will be responsible for evaluating alternative material formulations, supporting material change initiatives, executing engineering trials and special manufacturing runs, and strengthening technical capabilities in extrusion, polymer science, and materials engineering. The idóneo candidate will have hands-on experience in polymer processing, material characterization, and product development within regulated manufacturing environments,



preferably in the aerospace, defense, or industrial sectors.

Job Requirements

Key Responsibilities

- -Collaborate closely with Development Engineering teams in Fremont to evaluate alternative material formulations and material property performance.
- -Support material change initiatives across existing product lines and manufacturing processes.
- -Plan, coordinate, and execute engineering trials, pilot runs, and special manufacturing builds to validate new materials and product improvements.
- -Operate and utilize manufacturing and testing equipment available at the Tijuana facility to conduct engineering evaluations.
- -Provide engineering support for Wire & Cable products utilized in Aerospace, Defense, and Military applications.
