Monthly salary: $3,500 - $4,500 USD

Along with our partner, we are seeking a Senior Engineer to join their Regional Experiences team. Our mission is to grow the US remittance business by perfecting the moments that matter most: onboarding, payment, and disbursement.

In this role, you will be a hands-on, spending the majority of your time (70-80%) writing high-impact frontend code while partnering closely with stakeholders to shape and execute our product roadmap. Your work will directly improve the lives of immigrants and their families by building the next generation of trusted, borderless financial services.

You will:

- Partner with their product managers, designers, analysts, and other engineers to gather requirements and deliver scalable, high-quality software solutions with a customer-centric mindset.
- Lead team projects to design and build solutions for ambiguous and difficult problems spanning multiple technologies (TypeScript, React Native, Java/Kotlin, Go) and systems, dividing features into components and tasks that can be worked on in parallel for timely delivery.
- Develop high-quality, reusable, and scalable code involving multiple technologies.
- Pioneer the team's use of modern AI-powered development tools to deliver faster while maintaining quality and security standards.




- Champion engineering best practices by delivering well-tested, observable, well-documented, efficient, scalable, and resilient systems.
- Drive improvements to team processes and shape cross-team technical designs.
- Foster team growth by mentoring peers, conducting code reviews, participating in interviews, and supporting onboarding efforts.
- Take part in an on-call rotation to ensure the reliability and support of the team's services.
- Report to the Engineering Manager of their USA Regional Experiences team.

You have:

- Strong computer science, web, and native app fundamentals, and knowledge of design patterns.
- 6+ years of software development experience.
- Experience using AI throughout the software development lifecycle.
- 4+ years of React or React Native development experience.
- Expertise in one of the following programming languages: TypeScript, JavaScript, Kotlin, Java, Go.
- Excellent collaboration skills.

Work Schedule: Aligned with U.S. Pacific Standard Time.
