POSITION SUMMARY - The Thermal Engineersupports new product development. It acts as a technical referent for New Product Development team and Product management.

The Thermal

Engineer provides direct daily support to engineering groups by focusing on Thermal design, Testing and simulation.

- Engineer needs to Conduct model checks and/or creating parametric models with available CAD packages and perform the sensitivity analysis independently with limited assistance. He/ She need to Participate and support the potential product development opportunities on a general level and provide technical expertise towards design. One must drive the virtual testing and reducing the physical tests, develop and improve of current best practices of the computational methods / Hand Calculations RESPONSIBILITIES - Assists with creation, reviewing, and systems-entry of new product specifications, ECNs, tests, procedures, user manuals, submittal drawings, and sales literature.
- Utilize the analytical skill set and simulation tools to analyze the fluid flow systems and recommendations for design improvements.
- Should be able to Interpret analysis results for base design and suggest modification.




- Working with contract resources and/or manufacturers for prototype/production builds - Assists with troubleshooting of escalated or re-occurring field issues with aid from the simulations.
- Works closely with technicians and junior engineers, providing technical support and guidance.
- Collaborates with other groups, including Electrical, Mechanical, Control engineers, System test, customer support, and manufacturing.

QUALIFICATIONS - Bachelor of Science in Thermal, Mechanical, Aerospace Engineering or equivalent.

- Comfortable in working with Creo preferred or any other CAD software.
- 5 + Years of engineering on DX and CW Refrigeration system development/Design.
- Comprehensive understanding of the Refrigeration system.
- Working proficiency of mechanical and Thermal design concepts.
- Experience with thermal Design software such as Refprop, Coildesigner or equivalent analysis package desired.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to solve (and prevent) a wide range of problems quickly and logically.
- Excellent planning, organizing, documentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and operate in cross functional Global Development Teams.
- Fluency in English PHYSICAL & ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS - No special physical requirements. TIME TRAVEL REQUIRED - 10%
