Flavorist – Tlalnepantla

We are looking for a Flavorist to join our team and support the Flavors business. The role will involve developing and implementing pricing strategies for the company’s products and working closely with Applications Labs, Sales, and other departments to manage projects with account managers for the Flavors BU to drive matching savory flavors.

Responsibilities

- Knowledge of regulations, FDA, CODEX, FEMA, European Community and Mexican standards for additives as finished products.
- Knowledge and application of sensory evaluation methods.
- Management of staff on specific projects.
- Good communication skills with internal and external customers.
- Knowledge of the protocol for scaling flavors and process experience.
- Delegation of responsibilities to achieve projects.
- Knowledge of chromatography and analysis methods.




- Creativity and experience in matching savory flavors.
- Prioritizes projects based on business impact and customer needs.

Qualifications

- 5-10 years of experience.
- Expertise in development of savory flavors, liquids, powders, and emulsions and their various processes (mixes, physical, dried by spraying, reaction flavors, emulsions, false dried, extrusions, reaction extracts).
- Expertise in creation of all kinds of flavors (seasonings, savory, seeds or dark, etc.).
- Engineer's degree in food, chemical, or related field with training in food technology.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.
