about the job

this is a challenging and exciting opportunity to support the core application of sap ariba. As part of the im services functional application support team, you will play a key role in ensuring user satisfaction, incident management, and engaging with key users to meet business needs in sap ariba and related technologies.

responsibilities

- provide operational support for sap ariba and related applications, ensuring the integrity of the production environment.
- support incident management by ensuring systems are up and running, resolving application‑related tickets.
- administer sap ariba configurations and monitor interfaces between ariba and sap ecc.
- lead application enhancements, support change management processes, and collaborate on project execution with business stakeholders.
- engage with key users for training and feedback, ensuring seamless system operation.

functional area

- strategic sourcing modules: slp, sourcing, contracts
- p2p: guided buying, ariba buying, commerce automation
- sap ariba network: all documents including electronic invoices
- sap ariba cig / cloud integration gateway (basics)

qualifications

- bachelor or master degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.




- minimum 7 years of hands‑on experience supporting sap ariba, including strategic sourcing, p2p, and ariba network modules.
- proficiency in english (speaking and writing).
- strong knowledge in sap ariba, sap mm, pm, fi, and co modules with integration knowledge across business applications.
- itil, cobit, or cmm certifications are highly preferred.
- familiarity with sap ariba cloud integration gateway (cig).
- experience with automation initiatives and seller integration systems.
