Indirect Procurement Buyer – Monterrey Plant

As an Indirect Procurement Buyer, you’ll be part of our Customs team working as an onsite employee.

Responsibilities

- Carry out the indirect purchasing process for materials, services and CAPEX in accordance with Stanley Black & Decker Ethics and Compliance standards.
- Carry out the sourcing process to identify, evaluate and select suppliers to participate in indirect purchasing bidding processes.
- Create, negotiate, and close contract negotiations with the best desirable outcome for Stanley Black & Decker.
- Create, send, and track purchase orders for indirect purchases for national and foreign suppliers.
- Comply with the KPIs of the indirect purchasing area.
- Lead, develop and carry out productivity savings projects to reduce costs.
- Ensure the completion of the purchasing cycle by supporting the Finance and Accounts Payable departments with the monitoring of invoices, account statements and payment to suppliers (domestic and foreign).
- Know, learn, execute,



and ensure the use of ISO indirect purchasing procedures and documents.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree or related engineering completed
- 3 years of relevant experience
- 5 years of experience in Indirect Purchasing
- Microsoft Office, SAP.
- Conversational English
- Uncompromising integrity
- Positive attitude
- Teamwork and excellent communication skills.
- Willingness to develop as a purchasing professional.
