Work you’ll do/Responsibilities

As a Consultant at Deloitte, you will work within an engagement team and be responsible for supporting the overall project goals and objectives. In this role, you will interact with stakeholders and cross-functional teams. It is expected that you will be able to perform independent tasks as well as provide technical guidance to team members, as needed.

The Alternative Investment Operation Specialist provides operational support for a client's alternative investment platform, covering the end-to-end lifecycle of private market investments — including private credit, direct lending, preferred equity, fund-level financings, and other complex or bespoke alternative structures. The ideal candidate is comfortable reading and interpreting deal documentation to extract operational mechanics, engaging directly with client stakeholders, and providing day-to-day oversight of outsourced and offshore service providers who perform elements of settlement, reconciliation, and document processing on the client's behalf.

Qualifications

Required

- 3-5+ years of consulting and/or industry experience.
- Completion of course of study/ Egresado in Computer Science/IT/Computer Engineering, or any pertinent field or industry, or equivalent years of experience.
- Responsible for supporting and independently completing project tasks.
- Advanced English level.
- Experience in finance operations, billing, data operations, or a related analytical/operational role.
- Strong proficiency in Excel, including macros/formulas; familiarity with data workflow/automation tools (e.g., Alteryx or similar) is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to manage recurring, deadline-driven data cycles independently.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for direct stakeholder engagement.
- High attention to detail and comfort resolving data exceptions and ambiguous scenarios.
- Review automated allocation outputs, triage and resolve common system errors (e.g., missing reference data, unmatched identifiers),



and coordinate with relevant teams to correct source data.
- Generate approved invoices using Excel-based macros/templates, ensure adherence to relevant reporting/formatting standards, and submit finalized invoices to the appropriate internal or external recipients.
- Maintain accrual data at a business-unit level and partner with accounting/finance teams to reconcile discrepancies in prior billing periods.
