About the Role
The Compensation Manager supports the implementation of compensation programs and policies across selected Latin American countries, partnering with HR teams and the Global Total Rewards function to promote internal equity, market competitiveness, and compliance with local regulations.
This role partners closely with Global Total Rewards team, HR Business Partners, regional leadership, and payroll teams to deliver high‑quality compensation solutions that support business strategy and talent needs.
Key Responsibilities
Compensation Strategy & Implementation
- Implement general compensation and benefits policies, standards, and methodologies across the region.
- Support HR Business Partners and managers with compensation recommendations, market data analysis, and compensation-related inquiries.
- Own region‑specific compensation topics and ensure alignment with global frameworks.
Job Architecture & Market Analysis
- Manage and maintain global job catalogues, including job evaluations and participation in market surveys.
- Maintain job grading structures and salary ranges, supporting periodic reviews and updates.
- Analyze market data, business trends, and legal requirements to ensure competitive and equitable compensation practices.
Compensation Operations
- Coordinate the annual merit and compensation review processes, including data preparation, reporting, and communication activities.
- Partner with payroll to ensure accurate and timely compensation‑related payouts.
- Draft and validate compensation documentation and communications.
Advisory & Support
- Provide guidance on classification issues, salary recommendations, and compensation‑related inquiries.
- Support HRBPs with internal and external data analysis for offer development and compensation decisions.
- Ensure compliance with labor regulations,
including reporting requirements.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field preferred.
- 5 – 8 years of experience in compensation, rewards, HR analytics, or related areas, preferably within multinational organizations.
- Experience with job evaluation, salary structures, and market analysis.
- Knowledge of compensation practices in Mexico and experience supporting LATAM market is preferred (Colombia and Brazil).
- Experience working in multinational/global organizations
- Experience implementing and managing salary band methodologies.
- Experience collaborating with external compensation consultants and benefits providers.
- Experience with country benchmarking and financial impact analysis related to compensation programs.
Skills & Competencies
- Coordinate the annual bonus and incentive programs is preferred.
- Deep knowledge across all core C&B; areas, not only salary structures and job architecture, but also incentive frameworks, annual cycles, and complex compensation programs.
- Ability to provide compensation guidance and recommendations using market data and established compensation frameworks.
- Strong project and stakeholder management skills, particularly for supporting regional cycles (e.g., merit, bonus, and incentive processes) and ensuring alignment with global frameworks.
- Proficiency with HRIS systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret compensation and market data.
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, macros, advanced formulas).
- Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization.
Languages
- Fluency in English required
- Spanish required; Portuguese preferred
