RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for working with cross‑functional groups to coordinate strategies for meeting customer’s requirements in all quality areas that also serve AE’s business needs. Failure Analysis, Root Cause Analysis, corrective and preventive action due to customer (internal‑external) complaints. Define, design, develop and implement SPC tools for assembly tools, manufacturing, and test fixtures. Establish, implement, and maintain the quality management system. Interact with Engineering and Operations to ensure an appropriate transfer of new products, PPAP. Responsible for planning, organizing, and managing activities of receiving/outgoing quality functions. Participate in Design Reviews to ensure compliance with reliability standards and customer requirements. Review Engineering Change Requests for customer approval requirements and submission. Perform weekly, monthly trend analysis and coordinate corrective actions with involved areas. Define SPC for manufacturing processes and monitor weekly and monthly performance, implement countermeasures. Interact constantly with Manufacturing Engineering, Operations, Materials, Support Areas to ensure robust processes using PPAP, SPC and LEAN tools. QUALIFICATIONS Proficient knowledge and troubleshooting skills in electronic circuits, components, PCBs, and manufacturing processes.
Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills. Familiar with diagnostic equipment (SEM, EDX, X‑ray analysis, scopes, etc), statistical yield analysis, physical failure, and root‑cause analysis. Measurable and extensive experience with influencing and negotiating in complex situations. Able to define process criteria to meet product and process requirements. Lean Manufacturing tools. Excellent computer skills (Statistical Software, Office –Excel–). Strong negotiation and communication skills. Strong leader and fearless change agent. Strong teamwork skills. Requires minimum 3‑4 year degree in a relevant Engineering discipline. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Expert in determining root cause of failures, correlating to historical data, and driving corrective action. Experience in Electronics Industry preferable. Experience in Automotive Industry and/or Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), preferable. EDUCATION Bachelor degree (Manufacturing, Electronic Engineering). Six Sigma Certification preferable. Possesses a thorough knowledge of products and applications and drives improvements in corporate functional capabilities.
