Senior Brand Manager – Oncology Launch

Shape the Launch of a New Oncology PortfolioSun Pharma is preparing to launch a new Brand Generics Oncology Business Unit in Mexico and is seeking a strategic, analytical and execution-driven marketing professional to lead the launch and positioning of its oncology brands.

This role will be responsible for transforming scientific evidence, market insights and customer needs into differentiated brand strategies that support successful product introduction and sustainable growth.

The position will work closely with Medical Affairs, Market Access, Sales, Regulatory Affairs and global teams to ensure integrated and high-quality launch execution.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and execute the brand strategy for the assigned oncology portfolio.
- Lead end-to-end launch planning, including pre-launch, launch and post-launch activities.
- Build differentiated brand positioning, value propositions and key strategic messages.
- Conduct market analysis, competitive intelligence and customer insight generation.
- Develop customer segmentation, targeting and engagement strategies.
- Create integrated omnichannel marketing plans for healthcare professionals and relevant stakeholders.
- Develop promotional materials, scientific communication tools and field-force resources.
- Partner with Medical Affairs to ensure scientific accuracy and strategic alignment.
- Collaborate with Market Access to integrate payer and institutional requirements into brand planning.
- Lead congress, advisory board, KOL engagement and medical education strategies in collaboration with the appropriate functions.
- Develop demand forecasts, marketing budgets and performance projections.
- Monitor brand performance, market evolution and launch KPIs.
- Identify risks, opportunities and corrective actions throughout the product lifecycle.
- Coordinate with regional and global marketing teams to adapt integral strategies to the Mexican market.




- Ensure all activities comply with corporate policies, promotional standards and applicable regulations.

Candidate Profile

- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Medicine or a related field.
- MBA or postgraduate qualification preferred.
- At least 6 years of experience in pharmaceutical marketing, commercial strategy or brand management.
- Significant experience managing Oncology, Hematology, Specialty Care or High-Specialty brands.
- Demonstrated experience launching innovative pharmaceutical products in Mexico.
- Strong knowledge of brand planning, product positioning, forecasting and lifecycle management.
- Experience working with KOLs, medical societies, congresses and scientific stakeholders.
- Understanding of the Mexican oncology market and its public and private healthcare dynamics.
- Strong analytical, strategic and project-management capabilities.
- Ability to translate complex scientific information into clear and compelling commercial strategies.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder-management skills.
- Advanced English proficiency.
