For one of our European clients, we are seeking an Interim Financial Transformation Project Leader – Mexico & USA

Location: Mexico City

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Financial Transformation Project Leader to support an ongoing finance transformation program involving the outsourcing of the accounting function for our client’s Mexican and US subsidiaries, representing over €100M in revenue.

The successful candidate will act as the local project lead, coordinating internal teams and external partners, driving adoption of the new operating model, and ensuring a smooth transition while maintaining business continuity.

Responsibilities

- Lead the local execution of the accounting outsourcing project across Mexico and the USA.
- Coordinate internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and delivery of project objectives.
- Drive change management activities and support impacted teams throughout the transition.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement mitigation actions.




- Ensure continuity of finance operations during the transformation phase.
- Provide regular updates to senior leadership and key stakeholders.

Qualifications

- Strong accounting knowledge, including IFRS, and a solid understanding of finance operations.
- Proven experience leading or supporting finance transformation initiatives.
- Solid project management and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Experience working with outsourced finance , Shared Service Centers or business process outsourcing (BPO) models is highly desirable.
- Experience working with European companies is a plus.
- Fluent Spanish and English required.
