The HR Operations Partner I provides operational HR support across Mexico, the United States, and Canada. This role is responsible for executing employee lifecycle transactions, supporting employee inquiries, maintaining HR records, processing Workday transactions, and ensuring timely and accurate delivery of HR services. The position serves as a key point of contact for employees and managers while supporting compliance requirements and delivering a positive employee experience.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Supports employee lifecycle activities including onboarding, employee data changes, employment verifications, terminations, and HR documentation administration.
- Serves as a primary point of contact for employee and manager inquiries through MyHR channels, email, and phone support.
- Processes HR transactions within Workday and other HR systems while ensuring data accuracy and compliance with established procedures.
- Maintains employee records, documentation, operational trackers, and recurring reporting requirements.
- Coordinates operational programs including milestone anniversaries, one-time payments, stipends, allowances, and employee support initiatives.
- Supports compliance-related activities including audit preparation, documentation management, NOM administration, and other regulatory requirements.
- Coordinates asset return activities and other operational processes across North America.
- Identifies operational issues and escalates opportunities for process improvement.
- Partners with HR team members and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure effective service delivery and operational continuity.
- Performs other duties and special projects as assigned.
Work Location: Hybrid (3 - 4 days on-site)
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 1–3 years of experience in HR, operations, shared services, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of HR processes and employee lifecycle activities.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working with HR systems (Workday preferred).
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Bilingual English and Spanish preferred.
