- The Manufacturing Engineer role involves_ plans, directs, and coordinates manufacturing processes by providing technical support and maintenance of manufacturing methods by performing the following duties in the manufacturing phase of the product lifecycle._
**What a typical day looks like**:
- **_ Understand manufacturing and test equipment concepts, technologies and techniques_**:
- **2 years of experience in new products development.

- **_ Designs manufacturing processes within schedule and budgetary parameters._**:
- **_ Develops, evaluates, and improves manufacturing methods._**:
- **_ Define equipment maintenance requirements, identify root causes of equipment failures and develop hands-on maintenance skills._**:
- **_ Work with other engineering stakeholders and customers on problem solving and continuous improvement to the design of equipment and products and may develop corrective and preventive action plans_**:
- **_ May be involved in development and update of PFMEA for new products_**:
- **_ May participate in control plan development_**:




- **_ Write and update work instructions and other documents (e.g. specifications, procedures)_**:
- **_ Examines and designs layout of equipment and workspace for maximum efficiency._**:
- **_ Confers with production group concerning product design and tooling to ensure efficient production methods._**:
- **_ Coordinates with customers to identify product specifications and design changes and responds to customer requests._**:
- **_ Provides information for management recommendations from a technical and technical cost perspective._**:
- **_ Confers with management, engineering, and other staff regarding manufacturing capabilities, production schedules, and other considerations to facilitate production processes._**:
- **_ Applies statistical methods to estimate future manufacturing requirements and potential._**

- **_ Bachelor ́s or Industrial / Mechanical, Electrical Engineering Degree_**:
- **_ Intermediate-Advanced_**_ English._**:
- **_ Tools Knowledge: AutoCAD, Solid Works, Macros _**:
- **_Standard Time, OBC operator balance chart, Tkt._**:
- **_ Microsoft Office skills.
(PP, Word, Excel)_**:
- **_ Programming logic Knowledge._**
