Reporting to the Managing Counsel and joining our 35+ member legal team which operate from locations in the US, UK, South Africa, Costa Rica and Brazil, this role presents an exciting opportunity for the right individual.

Main Responsibilities:

- Advising on:
- Energy product sale, purchase, logistics and service agreements- Commercial contracts relating to the operation of World Kinect's global business- Providing general commercial legal support to a team of legal professionals who are advisers to World Kinect's global energy trading business- A strong and proactive focus on compliance- Proactively developing contract management and other legal processes and contract templates to promote efficient workflows and align legal risk management requirements across the WKC Group- Educating business and support colleagues on legal and contract matters and best practices- Internal and external customer support - developing connectivity and relations with colleagues in other offices and building direct relationships with customers and key suppliers- Strong, visible and frequent collaboration with internal stakeholders -

Main Requirements:
- Law Degree and 4+ years of experience.
- Training and post qualification experience at a leading law firm.
In-house commercial legal experience, which may include time at an energy company, oil major, trading house or shipping, transportation, renewables or industrial services company is welcomed but not essential- A pragmatic, hands-on lawyer who is able to think on their feet and find sensible solutions to legal challenges; ability to assess issues, take ownership and efficiently implement solutions- Strong stakeholder management skills - emotionally intelligent and able to win trust and develop business relationships- Knowledge and a passion to assist World Kinect in its sustainable energy transition- Professional presence and integrity- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, dynamic, performance-driven culture.
