**GENERAL**
The manufacturing engineer is focused on maintaining, developing, and operating manufacturing systems.
They are responsible for keeping the production costs down, while maintaining the quality of the product or service unaffected and have extensive knowledge and insights into projects.
It's responsible in supporting all aspects involving manufacturing process engineering, these processes must align to ISO ***** regulations and assure safety and environmental compliance at the Matamoros facility before city, state and federal entities.
**POSITION DETAIL REQUIREMENTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Develops manufacturing processes by studying product requirements, researching testing methods, and conferring with equipment vendors.
- Leads new product introduction programs, engineering change order process and all activities around product ERP/MRP setup.
- Improves manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning workflow, space requirements, and equipment layout.




- Assures product and process quality by designing testing methods.
- Provides manufacturing decision-making information by calculating production, labor, and material costs.
- Prepares business reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
- Provides manufacturing engineering information by answering questions and requests.
- Maintains product and company reputation by following government regulations.
- Keeps equipment operational by coordinating maintenance and repair services.
- Completes design and development projects by training and guiding technicians.
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops.
- Works in a team environment, accomplishing any other duties as required by the company.
Responsibility for continuous education by attending seminars, workshops and courses.
**EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS**:
Bachelor of science degree in Engineering or similar degree.
Three to five years working experience.
Experience with Microsoft Products, ERP/MRP Software, ACAD.
Bilingual English/Spanish is required.
