We are looking for a talented** Engineer** to join our dynamic team in the process of **Design & Release** of automotive systems & components!
**YOUR ROLE**:
**As Design Release Engineer in this position, you will**:
- Interface with cross functional team to design and develop functional solutions that achieve design requirements & to ensure proper design interfaces with other components, and all requirements are met.
- Work with other functions Design / Releasing teams to ensure consistency in requirements, standards, and practices across programs.
- Own and update Design Failure Mode & Effects Analysis (DFMEA), Design Verification Plan & Report (DVPR), and Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEA) - ensure functional objectives, guidelines and corporate requirements are met
- Interface with stakeholders at all levels including vehicle teams, HMI, validation, requirement leads, technical specialists, leadership, and develop robust functional designs.
- Follow, track and root cause build issues found during pre-production builds, prior to launch of the program and warranty analysis of all the components after the launch.
- Coordinate with designers and support teams to ensure all necessary TeamCenter tasks are completed.
**YOUR PROFILE**:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, and or MBA from an ABET accredited university (or equivalent).
- Experience with automotive components/systems design/development/releasing.
- Demonstrated working knowledge of Powertrain / Engine / Transmission operation and components.
- Knowledge of CAN/LIN bus and experience with circuit analysis.
Experience with CAN (Canoe) bus.
- NX and Teamcenter knowledge.
- Knowledge of Design Failure Mode & Effects Analysis (DFMEA), Design Verification Plan & Report (DVP&R;), FEA, Mold Flow Virtual Validation, GD&T;, and i-Speed.
- CAE/Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) experiences on Powertrain structure.
- High level of proficiency in English (speaking, reading, writing).

- Highly motivated individual and driven by results.
- Strong communications skills and ability to convey technical information for understanding to various audiences (management/non-technical).
