What You'll DoConduct process mapping and documentation of current tax processes (as-is) across LATAM countries.Document direct tax, indirect tax, and tax-related administrative processes.Develop process flows, operating procedures, RACI matrices, control narratives, and supporting documentation.Identify operational gaps, inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and risks within existing tax processes.Support the design and implementation of future-state standardized processes (to-be).
Create operational manuals, flowcharts, checklists, and control guides.Organize, maintain, and update the regional digital repository of tax documentation.Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders including Finance, CFS, IT, Customs, and local Tax teams to validate process flows and dependencies.Monitor and update documentation due to operational, organizational, or regulatory changes.Assist in improving governance practices and strengthening the regional tax control environment.What Success Looks LikeTax processes are clearly documented, standardized, and accessible across LATAM operations.Operational risk is reduced through improved process visibility and documented controls.Tax process knowledge is retained and less dependent on individual experience.Greater consistency and alignment of tax procedures across countries.Improved efficiency, role clarity,
