At Unilever, we have a clear purpose – to make sustainable living commonplace.Through our 400 brands, reaching 2.5 billion people every day, our goal is to generate a positive social impact both globally and locally.Role PurposeThe RTR Latam Supervisor – Transformation is responsible for leading and ensuring the delivery of accurate, timely, and compliant end-to-end financial accounting activities across assigned countries.This role drives excellence in the Record-to-Report process, supporting month-end close, balance sheet integrity, and financial reporting while ensuring adherence to IFRS standards and internal controls.Additionally, the position plays a key role in finance transformation initiatives, including transitions, process standardization, and automation, working closely with shared services, stakeholders, and external providers.The role requires strong ownership of intercompany and balance sheet processes, delivering insights, improving efficiency, and strengthening financial governance in a complex, multinational environment.Key Responsibilities:Perform and supportend-to-end financial accounting activitiesfor assigned countries, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.Execute and support themonth-end close , including trial balance review, reconciliations, and variance analysis.Prepare and analyzefinancial reports, cash flow statements, and balance sheet movements , providing clear insights.Ensure correct application ofaccounting standards and corporate policies , including IFRS 16 lease accounting.Coordinate day-to-day activities withshared services and external providers , ensuring quality and issue resolution.Supportintercompany, bank, and balance sheet reconciliations ,
driving closure of open items.Contribute toprocess improvements, standardization, and automation initiativesacross finance operations.WHAT DO YOU NEED TO APPLY?
ExperienceBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business AdministrationSolid experience in Record-to-Report (R2 R) and/or Controllership in multinational environmentsStrong knowledge of IFRS (including IFRS 16), financial accounting, month-end close, and balance sheet managementExperience in finance transformation, transitions, or process improvement initiatives is a plusProven experience in intercompany processes and balance sheet reconciliationsHands‐on experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and strong Excel skillsKnowledge of internal controls, audit support, and compliance requirementsStrong English communication skills, comfortable working in a global, matrix organization.Competencies & SkillsR2 R / Controllership ExperienceStrong experience in Record-to-Report (R2 R) and controllership roles within complex, multinational environmentsEnd-to-end understanding of accounting activities across multiple legal entitiesAccounting & IFRS ExpertiseSolid working knowledge of IFRS, with hands-on experience in leases (IFRS 16), provisions, intercompany, and AR/APAbility to design, document, and maintain accounting flows aligned with policy and control requirementsStrong knowledge of financial accounting, month-end close, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial reportingTransitions & Finance TransformationHands‐on exposure to carve-outs, transitions, or finance transformation initiativesProven ability to prepare data packs,
manage balance transfers, and perform robust validations across entitiesIntercompany & Balance Sheet OwnershipStrong experience in intercompany reconciliation, clearing, and settlement processesDetail‐oriented approach to balance sheet integrity and timely issue resolutionSystems, Data & ToolsExperience working with ERP and financial systems (e.g., SAP or similar)Advanced Excel skills and exposure to automation and digital reporting initiativesControls & Audit SupportStrong audit readiness capabilities, including walkthroughs, control documentation, and evidence preparationHigh attention to detail with a focus on controls, compliance, and data integrity.LeadershipConsumer LoveAgilityPurpose & ServiceINTERESTED?
