Engineer responsible for designing, improving, validating, and releasing mechanical tooling for production processes.Handles machinery design, upgrades, integration, and implementation, and may implement mechanical related projects at plant level such as Cobots and machine/process automation.ResponsibilitiesDefines and updates the procedures in the plant to review and release tooling and fixtures.Defines the application of design requirements for tooling based on DMD directions.Administrates the mechanical drawing database.Provides technical support for the drawing database users.Manufacturing integration and automation initiatives.Machinery upgrades.Machinery integration.Machinery / Process improvements.Drawings maintenance (updates and storage).
Implements mechanical related projects at plant level such as Cobots and machine/process automation.QualificationsProfessional Degree.Minimum 5 years of experience in Mechanical Design and/or Machining shop related activities.Proficiency in Mechanical Design Software (SolidWorks) with GD&T; and DFM.Knowledge of machining material specifications and treatments.Customer-oriented, analytical thinking, structured working, teamwork and pro-active.High responsibility and sense of urgency, able to travel and support after hours if needed.LocationPARQUE INDUSTRIAL RIO BRAVO#J-*****-Ljbffr
