Role Summary
Manage import/export operations and procedures to ensure compliance with local and global trade regulations.
Responsibilities
Prepare and review import and export customs entries (pedimentos) in compliance with Mexican Customs regulations.
Validate accuracy of tariff classifications (HTS/HS codes), customs values, country of origin, and applicable trade programs.
Maintain compliance with IMMEX program requirements.
Conduct periodic audits of import and export transactions.
Review customs entries, supporting documentation, and broker performance.
Audit customs declarations for accuracy and regulatory compliance.
Identify areas of risk and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
Prepare audit reports, findings, and management presentations.
Education Required
Bachelor's degree in Foreign Trade or a related field.
Fluent English (Intermediate to Advanced).
Skills and Experience
Intermediate to advanced knowledge in Trade Regulations (Ley Aduanera, Regla de Comercio Exterior, LIGIE, Certificación IVA IEPS, IMMEX).
Understanding of import and export compliance regulations established by local and international authorities,



with at least one year of professional experience in import and export-related positions.
Flexibility and adaptability to a continuously changing work environment.
Problem‐solving skills and effective communication across departments.
Additional Requirements
This vacancy is 100% face‐to‐face (onsite) in Actual Laredo.
Relocation assistance not available.
Availability to travel 40% nationally and internationally; a valid VISA is required.
Onsite work five days a week.
