ISP After School Assistant - Role Profile
Purpose of Role
To support the After School program by assisting the lead teacher in supervising students, facilitating activities, providing academic help, and ensuring a safe, positive, and inclusive environment for all participants.

ISP After School Assistant Key Responsibilities
- Assist the lead teacher in supervising students during after-school hours.
- Help organize and facilitate educational, recreational, and social activities.
- Support students with homework and academic tasks as needed.
- Maintain a safe, respectful,



and positive environment for all students.
- Monitor student behavior and report any issues to the lead teacher.
- Prepare and organize materials and equipment for activities.
- Communicate with students and staff to ensure smooth program operation.
- Assist with attendance tracking and other administrative tasks.
Skills, Qualifications and Experience
**Skills**:Classroom management - Skilled in maintaining a respectful, focused, and supportive learning environment
Qualifications:
Academic Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Some college coursework or certification in education, child development, or related fields preferred.
- Previous experience working with children or in educational settings is an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of child safety and development principles.
- CPR and First Aid certification is a plus.
**Experience**:
2-5 years of experience working in administrative tasks, coordinating tasks, duties, and so on, to provide the best experience for children and the best practices for the department.
